Cheltenham for Europe and Tewkesbury for Europe were able to secure a stall at the Gloucestershire University Oxstalls Refreshers Fair. Whilst this was considerably less busy than the September Freshers Fair a large proportion of the students stopped to speak with us and put stickers on the Brexitometer. As usual the response was overwhelmingly anti Brexit.
We also advised about the campaign to restore Erasmus+ as the replacement Turing Scheme is proving problematic. We gave out pro EU promotional material and as well as UK/EU matters we were able to discuss registration to vote and required photo ID.
We have sent a report of the day to local MPs (Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury) for their information.
