Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held Wednesday 6 March 2024

Present:  Chair (Flo Clucas) and 25 members

The Chair welcomed members to the AGM

1	Minutes of the previous AGM	The minutes of the previous AGM held on Monday 6 March 2023 were approved
	Reports
2	Officers report	The Chair introduced and thanked the committee members following which she presented the report of the officers.
3	Treasurer’s report	The financial report was presented by the Treasurer and approved
4	Elections
	Officers	The following were elected as officers Chair: Philip Cole Secretary: Neil McCart Treasurer: Sarah Pineger Membership Secretary: Sarah Moliver
5	Committee members	The following were elected as Committee members in addition to the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer: Pamela Armstrong Flo Clucas John Firth Adrian Phillips Vivek Shinde
6	Thanks to outgoing Chair	The incoming Chair, Philip Cole, thanked the outgoing Chair, Flo Clucas, for her very much appreciated input to Cheltenham for Europe
7	Other AGM Matters	encouraging young people to join C4E – difficult to engage, continue with events at university fairs, encourage YEM (Young European Movement), keep live awareness of Brexit and advantages of being part of the EU, awareness of democracy and using their votesgeneral election – a meeting of C4E members will be arranged to discuss strategy as soon as a general election is calledinvitation to attendees to join the committee
